A closer look at the brand identity for ECO STUDIOS. The mark began as an abstract, sculptural interpretation of the letters E, C, and O. As it developed, it started to feel less like a traditional logo and more like a spatial composition, almost like a bird’s-eye view of furniture planning in a room. For an interior design studio rooted in natural materials and thoughtful detail, the goal was to create a system that felt refined, tactile, and distinct. Every element was designed to support the interior work without overpowering it: a grounded palette, subtle texture, clean typography, and a unique, artful mark. Brand identity for @ecostudioss

A mood board isn’t decor, it’s alignment. Before any logos or typography, this is how every visual identity project starts: getting on the same page about how a brand should feel before we decide how it should look. Every image here was chosen for a reason. The founder of @ecostudioss took that landscape herself in New Zealand, which set the tones. A sculptural lamp became the seed of the mark. A deep brown envelope told me exactly how far to push the palette. Swipe for a closer look.

After five years of building @recesspickleball , I’m excited to share that Recess has been acquired. This has been one of the most formative chapters of my life, filled with late nights, meaningful partnerships, insane growth, big learnings and (most importantly) incredible friendships. Swipe to see a few of the highlights! I’ll always be cheering Recess on, now just from the sidelines. 🤍 Also excited to share something new: @bygracemoore , a space where I work directly with founders to create thoughtful, design-forward brand identities built to scale. Branding has always been the thing that lights me up most, from mood boards and logos to color systems and typography. It’s where vision comes to life. I’ll be sharing more of that process over at @bygracemoore , along with recent client work and behind-the-scenes of how these brands are built. I’ve opened a few spots to take on new founders this summer. If you or someone you know is building something and ready to invest in your brand, I’d love to chat!
