SURPRISE! I married the love of my life this weekend, @byhollyfitz - ( how amazing does that name look?! ) the most creative, generous, hilarious, wildly beautiful partner to walk this fine earth. We invited a small group of friends and family to a “surprise proposal” at the movie theatre of our first date @syndicatedbk ; but when 7pm hit, the lights dimmed, a short film played, and the true purpose of the night was revealed. The rest is history.
Last year I happened to be in Austin for the world premiere of “Everything Everywhere All at Once” at SXSW. The show had been sold out but I snuck in pretending to be a press photographer. It was one of the most thrilling moments of 2022. Now, a year later, I get to say I was in the audience for the very first public screening of this wildly strange, wondrous film.
On our first date, Holly said she wanted to go to the transit museum. I thought it sounded boring. Turns out nothing is boring with her ( it’s a cool museum check it out ). @hollythiel@nytransitmuseum
