I decided I want to draw Bakugan from time to time, and this is the very first Bakugan from the first episode of Bakugan Battle Brawlers that we see in battle during the fight between Shuji and Dan Kuso.

DANGANRONPA X MH, pt. 1
So, in the beginning of February I was thinking about Danganronpa, because this anime lives in my head rent-free and is one of my favorite animes of all time and basically one of the greatest pieces of media that exist, and I got this idea to redraw all the characters from the first season but in the OG Monster High art style and also basically turning them into the monsters I think would suit those characters the best. And when I started I guess I didn’t really realize the amount of time it was going to take, because during the process more and more ideas were coming and basically all of this took almost three months. But finally here it is!

I’m still practicing realism, and this illustration took a ridiculous amount of time, but I finally finished it. I decided to redraw an old piece from 2024, inspired by Sonne by Rammstein and I’m really happy to see the progress, though there’s still a lot to improve. The Adam sculpture by Cody Swanson was used as a strong reference for this version.
…Now that I’m done with this one, I want to do something more stylized and fun haha

No matter how hard I try, Instagram just won’t let me upload the original version, where the whole drawing is made exclusively in red tones, so I have to post the black and white one instead. For me, it loses a bit of the atmosphere, but there’s nothing I can do about it.

Finally watched Wicked and honestly didn’t expect to like it this much. Ended up sketching a scene from the final part because it just stuck with me. Now I’ve got the songs stuck in my head and I’m already waiting for part two.

Here’s my latest piece from a little mini-series of vintage-style posters and covers inspired by the DuckTales universe. This one’s a fun parody of a Spy vs. Spy cover. When I thought about that comic, Darkwing Duck and Negaduck immediately came to mind. Funny thing is, this was actually the first idea I had for the series, but for some reason, I wasn’t quite sure how I wanted it to look until recently.
