Pellucid: A Journey ✨
My journey with drawing started when I was very young. At first, I was just copying cartoon characters, but over time it became a way to create stories and explore emotions I couldn’t put into words. Drawing gave me a space to transform things I didn’t fully understand yet — and I think that’s where my visual language started to take shape.
In my teenage years, I began working with Turkish humour magazines, which allowed me to grow quickly. Being part of that world — surrounded by other artists, constant deadlines, and a deep tradition of visual storytelling — helped me find my own rhythm and sharpen my hand.
Meanwhile, I had always been curious about tattooing. But back then, the tools and techniques available didn’t match the kind of fine lines and subtle textures I was drawn to. As tattoo technology evolved, I saw that what I had in mind was now possible — so I began learning everything I could. I watched others, read, experimented, and even tattooed myself to understand how the skin reacts and what it really means to draw on a living surface.
That process eventually led me to what I now call Pellucid Illustration. For me, “pellucid” means more than just something clear — it’s about being honest, vulnerable, and open in the most quiet way. My work often moves between where I am and where I want to be, blending imagination with reality, stillness with emotion. It’s less about decoration and more about reflection.
Each tattoo I make is a conversation. Not loud, but intentional — for those who carry their past, dream forward, and aren’t afraid to be seen in-between ✨
I would like to share with you some news that made me very happy. I was used to being featured in local art and tattoo magazines in Europe but this one felt a bit different. In this book, which has been published in the past months, I was deemed worthy of being included with the great artists I also admire. I would like to thank everyone who contributed to the book and everyone who trusted me and entrusted their bodies to me until today. I will always endeavour to do better while accumulating beautiful memories with you 🤗

Beni çok mutlu eden bir haberi sizlerle paylaşmak istiyorum. Avrupadaki yerel sanat ve dövme dergilerinde yer almaya alışmıştım fakat bu biraz daha farklı hissettirdi. Geçtiğimiz aylarda yayınlanan bu kitapta, benim de hayranı olduğum harika sanatçılarla birlikte bana da yer verilmeye değer görülmüş. Kitapta emeği geçenlere ve bugüne kadar bana güvenip, bedenini bana emanet eden herkese teşekkür ederim. Sizlerle güzel anılar biriktirirken her zaman daha iyisini vermeye gayret edeceğim 🤗
