So… here’s what’s changing.
@_byfable started with ink on paper capturing objects and their essence.
But alongside that, another side of the work was growing, the originals. More instinctive, more about feeling than form.
Over time, it became clear they needed different things.
So they’re now separating.
@_byfable becomes a dedicated print-focused brand, curated, design-led, and created to live within interiors.
And I’ll be stepping forward under my own name, focusing on original work.
Two worlds, built from the same place.
And it’s just the beginning.

This has been a long time coming - introducing the NEW @_byfable
By Fable started as a way to share my work and aesthetic- something I couldn’t find elsewhere.
Over time, it’s grown into something much bigger, and now it feels like the right moment to give it some much needed space.
By Fable is now a dedicated space for fine art prints. But more than that it’s also opening up.
New artists, new perspectives, and collaborations with designers, all shaping a broader, more considered collection which I just know you’ll love.
Alongside this, I’ll be sharing my original artwork and illustration projects here.
Two parts that have always existed, now given their own space to grow.
This isn’t a reset, it’s a refinement.
And it feels like the beginning of something really exciting.

Last year I shared this video of one of my original pieces from my Equanimity collection, titled VEER.
I wanted people to feel like stepping into this collection was like taking a deep breath - a moment of calm in the middle of everything.
I’m so grateful for this community of little squares, as your response to this piece changed everything. What I thought was just another share became the work that travelled further than I ever expected.
Your reaction confirmed my belief in the quiet power of monochrome. VEER became more than an artwork - it became a turning point. A reminder that stillness and texture can resonate louder than noise.
That lesson carried me into my new collection Groundfire and now into my new gallery space. Both built on the same belief that texture, calm, and depth can tell a story all of their own.

Break the cycle ✨
This feels like the beginning of a new chapter. But instead of rushing it I’m taking it slowly.
The last couple of years it’s felt like full steam ahead, being reactive rather than proactive.
This year I promised myself I’d take back control.
So this is me, breaking the cycle.
Anyone else felt this way?
@annainsgp and I are delighted to see Eden Hall, the iconic residence of the British High Commissioner, featured in this month’s @expatlivingsg magazine. Thank you also for giving us a chance to reflect on our eventful first 18 months here!
Great to @elizabethmarlowart ’s illustrations of the house given prominence.
We’re proud to call this wonderful building our home and to use it to celebrate the unique partnership between 🇬🇧 and 🇸🇬
Do get in touch with the brilliant @ukinsingapore team if you’re interested in hearing more about using Eden Hall as an event space.
A small re-introduction as things have changed around here.
I’ve always been drawn to imperfect lines. The kind where you can see the brush, the pressure, the movement.
Work that you want to touch, to feel.
That’s what I come back to, every time I paint.
With the brand split, this space is becoming more about that side of my work.
The originals, the process, the feeling behind it all.
I’m glad you’re here 🖤
By Fable started as escapism.
A small, personal way of creating something that felt true and a need to share my aesthetic and work with the world.
I never expected it to grow into what it has.
But when something grows, it asks for more from you. And it’s taken me a while to figure out what that will look like… and I’ve finally figured out what it is.
I’m telling my newsletter subscribers first tonight.
So make sure you’re signed up or you’ll have to wait even longer for the ☕️
By Fable started as escapism. Something for myself.
It was a way for me to share my creativity and aesthetic with the world.
Over time, it became something much bigger - a business, a community, something that completely changed my life.
And recently, I’ve felt a shift.
Not because anything went wrong. But because something went very right. It’s grown into something that can’t live as just one thing anymore.
So I’ve been thinking. And planning. And thinking some more. And I’m ready to share what that looks like.
Make sure you’re signed up to the newsletter to be the first in “the know” (link in my bio)
But it finally fees like everything is clicking into place.

There’s something very special about seeing a painting leave the studio and settle into its new space. Watching it become part of an interior, in a way that feels natural and quietly complete.
Always incredibly grateful to the collectors who choose my work.
Lately the world feels heavy.
The news, the noise, the constant stream of things we can’t control. But when I’m painting, everything slows down. It’s just the brush and the moment.
A small pocket of calm in a very loud world.
Hoping this brought you a moment of stillness today (and if someone else might need that quiet moment too, feel free to pass it on.)
