"I'm 23, from Nigeria, and a recent Accounting graduate. I applied for this programme because I knew the corporate world wasn’t for me. I wanted to
fully explore my passion for photography.
I wanted my commercial brief project to focus on portraiture and location-based shoots, with a cultural organisation tied to my interest in Black history. This led me to work with the Black Cultural Archives
@bcaheritage , where I documented their youth forum members and events. The biggest challenges were scheduling shoots and directing my first long-form video, which I edited entirely myself."
