For the past weeks, we've been working on a self-built railbike. In a few days, we'll pack everything into our car and head to Albania. The plan: follow an abandoned railway line across the country! We have no guarantees because these rails are partly destroyed, overgrown, or completely gone. We don't know how far we'll get, or what will break first: the railbike or our plan. We've never done anything like this before.
That's also why there haven't been any YouTube videos lately. All our time is going into this! The final film will be broadcast on German TV at the end of this year.
What you're seeing here is our first prototype. It didn't run perfectly, so we went back and rebuilt it from scratch. Stay tuned for updates, and let us know: would you trust this thing on a 100+ km journey?

In the heart of an ancient Italian city, we ventured inside a massive abandoned prison complex. What first looked like a maze of silent corridors quickly turned into a mosaic of personal stories once we stepped inside the cells. Almost every room held traces of the people who had once been confined there.
Deep inside the complex, we also discovered something we didn't expect: a second prison - hidden, much older, and long forgotten. We slipped in through a broken window and into a derelict blue-tiled pumping station full of old machines - and nature slowly swallowing it all.
But then, through the collapsed roof, we spotted fresh smoke from the attached villa… and in the next room, a washing machine was still running. A dog barked behind the walls. Every step on shattered glass felt way too loud - so we left the way we came, unseen.
