We did it!! We opened The Hours at @metopera And I couldnt be happier. I am immensely grateful for the relationships built during this process, the space held for vulnerability, and the breathtaking music. Dreams do come true ❤️ I had the pleasure of opening my first show at @metopera Not only was it my first, but it was the first black directed and black composed opera to grace this stage. No words can explain how happy yesterday made me. Dreams were manifested from my childhood in the company of beautiful coworkers and crowds of black people. Congratulations to everyone.
