SPIDER-MAN: SWINGIN' THRU 🕸️🗽 (Part One)

A bit different from my usual, but this is the first portion of my Spider-Man sample comic created as a final university project! From now on, I'll be posting both my pencil and comic art here, starting with the biggest!
Scripted, pencilled, inked, and coloured by me; the project in it's entirety was 15 weeks, and resulted in one 14 page comic, a cover, a script, and many pages of character/costume design.

HITMAN HOTLINE, COVER #1:
1 year, 30,000 words of notes, 2 polished issue scripts, 50 rough front covers, 70 character designs, an unthinkable amount of reading, 2 six-issue books/200 pages worth of planning, and 1 finished cover later, ... pencilling for Issue #1 of my first and upcoming book - Hitman Hotline - is finally underway.
In a not-too-distant future's San Fransisco, with a society ravaged by overpopulation, overwhelmed and desperate governments have legalised murder as a means to control population and restore order. Amidst this chaos, a call centre company known as the "Hitman Hotline" has emerged, thriving in this new world order; employing anonymous contract killers wanting to make a profit from cutting down the population, literally. Among them is a (self-proclaimed) skilled assassin, ‘Mr. Protagonist’ , pictured above.
“Hitman Hotline” blends comedy, action and moral intrigue, balancing the absurd contrast of dull office life with the chaotic reality of professional assassins, and explores what dark fate awaits a group of people benefitting from a world where murder is just another day in the office.
It’ll look cooler than it sounds anyways.
How I distribute, publish, print, market and all that other important stuff is still up in the air, as is when I'll finish it, cus I am slow as hell, especially when scripts, pencils, inks, colours, and covers are all to be by me.
Nonetheless, it is now an official endeavour.

Never tried animation before... but when else if not to promote my book now being on Kickstarter! The opening support has already been INCREDIBLE, with just over a month to go!
‘Hitman Hotline #1’ is the first, full-colour, paperback issue of a six-issue miniseries written, illustrated, coloured and lettered by myself, Brandon Ward. This action-heavy opening chapter comprises over 30 pages, 5+ double-page spreads, and 200+ panels worth of content.

The first issue is officially pencilled - Over 30 pages that aren't quite finished for a book that doesn't exist yet... but still!
Was lucky enough to be too busy to work on this til late November so I'm happy to say progress is progressing.
