⚠️Closing Day Announcement⚠️
•
Vail Mountain is calling it early this year, with closing day now April 8th instead of the planned April 19th. If you’ve taken a lap lately, you already felt this coming.
This season just never showed up the way it’s supposed to. Storms missed, snow didn’t stack, and the sun’s been doing overtime. What should be prime spring riding right now feels like late-season survival laps—thin coverage, dirt creeping in, and fewer and fewer chairs spinning by the day. It’s been one of those years where you’re dodging patches more than chasing powder.
Still, huge respect to the groomers, lifties, and everyone on the mountain. They’ve been working with basically nothing and somehow keeping runs rideable way longer than they had any right to be. But there’s only so much you can do when winter just… doesn’t deliver.
And it’s not just Vail. The whole Western Slope has been feeling it. Many resorts have had to pull the plug early too. It’s been a rough one across the board.
At the end of the day, it is what it is. If you got turns this year, you earned ‘em. If you’re still out there, you already know—it’s about squeezing every last lap out of what’s left.
We’ll catch you next season when winter comes back swinging. Until then, stay dialed, keep the stoke alive, and check out BuzzsBoardsUSA.com for gear, deals, and everything you need to be ready when the snow finally returns!

@kaneschleper with the longest run he’s done yet. It’s crazy how capable he is at just 1 years old!

The end is near… Day 85 and we’re still staring at dirt.
•
No storms, no base, no redemption—just a season that never showed up. We kept checking the radar, waiting for that one reset storm, the day everything would turn around… but it never came.
•
A couple powder days. A few deep turns. But No real winter. Just blown forecasts, thin cover, and runs that look more like April than midseason. We kept showing up anyway—holding onto hope while the mountain slowly gave up beneath us.
•
This wasn’t a bad season… it was a missing one. No highlight reels, no glory days, no stories worth telling. Just thinking and hoping “maybe next week” until there was is no time left.
•
Now the lifts are still spinning—but for what? Dirt patches, empty lines, and the ghost of what should’ve been. The rumor is the mountain is closing early, and honestly, you can’t even blame it.

Worst season on record, but it didn’t stop us from riding everyday! @buzzsboards
