✨ SWAN DEEP🌿
Introducing our second artist supporting Sister Ray Davies on the 30th April at ALPHABET… Swan Deep!
Swan Deep invites you to experience a beautifully stripped back performance and the rawest form of sound. Atmosphere over everything, Swan Deep is poetic, reverberated and quietly powerful! 🙌
TICKETS AVAILABLE VIA THE LINK IN OUR BIO 🫵
Born from the experimental bedroom songwriting and poetic vocals of lead singer James O’Brien, Swan Deep blends elements of jazz, trip-hop, electronica, and post-punk. With his solo shows, he provides a more gentle delivery as everything is stripped down to the rawest form of his songs. Leaving a performance that revolves around what remains. Poetic lyrics and jazz influenced sounds, that are sunken in reverberation.

alphabet are an exciting new alternative band hailing from London, that is made up of four close friends: Lena, Milo, Tom, and George. The group’s roots trace back to their time in Brighton, where they met while playing in different bands. When life led them all to leave Brighton around the same time, they re-settled in London, where alphabet was born. Inspired by artists such as The Cure, Slowdive and Sonic Youth, alphabets sound mixes melodic and at times abrasive guitars with meteoric drumming and both punchy & ethereal vocals. Their debut single, “Artificial Light,” was one of the first tracks they crafted as a band, capturing the raw energy and connection that defines their sound.

About Sister Ray Davies:
Sister Ray Davies is a brilliantly named new duo formed by Adam Morrow and Jamie Sego. They might be based in Muscle Shoals, Alabama, but their acclaimed debut album Holy Island (released in November 2025 via Sonic Cathedral and Well Kept Secret) is a concept record about the ancient religious outpost off the coast of northeast England.
It’s a stunning record that mixes fuzzy guitars, folk horror and fantastic melodies, inspired by the likes of Slowdive, Ride, Galaxie 500, Yo La Tengo, The Clientele and Talk Talk. Despite its lyrical inspiration lying thousands of miles away, it comes imbued with the soulfulness of their surroundings - not least because it was recorded in the old Muscle Shoals Sound studio, now Portside Sound, which is run by Jamie.
The duo met when Adam played on sessions at the studio and they realised they had much in common, personally and musically. On Holy Island the story of Lindisfarne is used as a vibes-based framework for abstract ideas and emotions, as they try to make sense of our own peculiar moment in history.
