Small Squared @butterfactorystudios for @denmarkarts Brave New Works. I have been exploring a new colour palette with infinite possibilities. It’s all about mood and perception in this little geometric puzzle.

I’ve always been attracted to tiny scenes and those cutaway doll houses - when I was a kid I used to #draw cross sections of multi story houses with rabbits living in them (hundreds of drawings, obsessive amounts) - I especially loved drawing the stairs as the perspective got smaller and smaller going upwards (I thought I was SO clever) - anyway, these Brave New Works remind me a bit of those, but now with #fish

Am working to find my painterly voice but ohhh these lines keep on running forward..
This afternoon was spent at the @butterfactorystudios sharing the work of those magnificent artists. In quieter moments I put brush-to-paper in response to the deliciousness about me. Utterly, undeniably, compulsively finding lines.
