@pspa_net is investing in the future of healthcare through service, education, and impact.
@global_health_impact is proud to launch a statewide partnership with PSPA focused on expanding structured clinical education, service-based learning, and international opportunities for PA students and professionals across Pennsylvania.
Why this matters:
âś” Expanding access to rural and underserved communities
âś” Strengthening ethical, service-driven clinical training
âś” Supporting workforce readiness through hands-on experiences
âś” Building compassionate healthcare leaders prepared to serve where the need is greatest
This partnership is about more than training.
It’s about creating meaningful opportunities for students while strengthening the communities they serve.

Abigail Roberts (Health Sciences '23, MPAS '25) now works as a Physician Assistant in orthopedic surgery. She credits her Health Sciences courses for challenging her to consider the patient as a whole, understand healthcare on a larger scale, and for laying an invaluable foundation of knowledge in preparation for her graduate studies. During her time as an undergraduate at Butler, Abigail was a member of the swim team, completed the University Honors Program, was a member of Alpha Chi Omega, a member of the Blue Key Honor Society, served as Treasurer for Mortar Board, and worked as a Student Ambassador. Congratulations on your success, Abigail! We are proud of you!!
Last week, under the mentorship of Dr. Trainor and Dr. Beltran, Butler students presented at the Annual Health Humanities Consortium national meeting. They truly represented Butler with pose and contributed meaningfully to the research community in women's health!
Congrats to -

🗣️ Attention!! We are asking for all PA-C, PA-S, and Pre-PAs to consider signing and commenting to protect student loans. The Department of Education has proposed a deeply flawed rule among the regulations and limitations of student loan amounts to $20,500 per academic year. The One Big Beautiful Act allows “professional students” to borrow up to $50,000 per year. The Department is inappropriately excluding PA students- along with APRNs, PTs, and OTs. Link is below.

Last Friday, @butler.cophs and @anatomage collaborated to host the Anatomage Summit on campus. The event welcomed educators from Indiana, Illinois, Ohio, and Kentucky! Attendees participated in hands-on training workshops, pedagogy-based presentations, and invaluable networking opportunities. Our very own Kali Veness, Associate Professor of PA studies, delivered one of the keynote presentations!
