Gysèle is known for her passion for 90s (early) rave, her love for vinyl and preference for high bpm and uplifting tunes. An avid collector of early 1990s vinyl records, she draws inspiration from the energy of rave culture. As a DJ, Gysèle specializes in mixing fast and exciting tracks with a high tempo. Her sets are steeped in the signature sounds and beats of the 90s, such as acid house, techno, breakbeat and hardcore.
Gysèle believes it’s important to preserve the original essence of 90s rave culture and puts her own modern spin on it. Her sets are energetic, exciting and meant to make people dance and enjoy themselves. She creates an atmosphere of positivity and joy. Her passion for 90s rave culture and her skills as a DJ have endeared her to (early) Rave enthusiasts around the world.
Gysèle is co-founder and resident of
@hardattack909 , a successful forward thinking Early Rave concept, hosted at different locations such as Melkweg, Radion, Perron and several clubs in Germany and Belgium. She won the TWSTD DJ contest audience award in 2017 and has been playing often in a variety of (international) clubs and festivals since then. She just released her first album on cassette tape and is playing live, all under her new alias
@speedlord.live , which is strictly used for her productions and livesets. Founder and Radio host of Need 4 Speed, a show dedicated to +180 BPM tracks on Echobox. She’s also a Multigroove resident since 2022.
