We were recently invited to the soft opening of Bushfire Kitchen in Rancho Bernardo and honestly… we left impressed. 🌿✨ @bushfirekitchen
The vibe is fast casual, relaxed, and super family friendly, making it an easy spot for everything from a quick lunch to a girls’ night dinner with the kiddos in tow. The service was incredibly fast, the staff was so welcoming, and every dish tasted fresh from the very first bite.
We ordered the chicken empanadas, chicken curry bowl, Nashville spicy chicken sandwich, and of course sangria because priorities. 🍷 Everything was packed with flavor and tasted thoughtfully made, not just thrown together. You can really tell they focus on scratch-made food and high-quality ingredients.
They officially opened just a few days ago, so if you’re in the Rancho Bernardo area, definitely add this one to your list.

Honestly this spot is one of my go-tos when I want something that hits but doesn’t feel heavy. It’s giving comfort food, but cleaner and actually fresh.
The menu has so many good options—rotating empanada flavors (which I love), burgers that are big and juicy, and the salmon plate is sooo good 🤌 everything just tastes like real, quality ingredients.
And then… balance 🍷
Because you can keep it clean or add a sangria (highly recommend). It’s super refreshing and just ties the whole meal together.
