⚡ Artist Spotlight - FAT HAMSTER AND KANG NEW 일렉트로 펑크 듀오 Fat Hamster & KANG New는 헤비한 베이스라인, 거친 신스 사운드, 그리고 기후위기, 차별, 권력에 대한 비판을 담은 가사를 통해 폭발적인 라이브 퍼포먼스를 선보인다. 잔다리페스타, 아시안 팝 페스티벌 등 국내 주요 페스티벌에서 활동해온 이들은 2025년 데뷔 앨범 《Brains in a Vat》을 발매, 대만 골든 인디 뮤직 어워즈의 베스트 아시안 크리에이티브 아티스트 부문에 노미네이트되었고, KEXP, KXLU 등 해외 주요 라디오 플랫폼에서도 주목받았다. 같은 해 체코의 Colours of Ostrava, 스페인의 La Mar de Músicas, 프랑스의 Les Escales 등 주요 페스티벌 무대에 오르며 유럽 투어 또한 성공적으로 마쳤다. 2026년에는 한국의 펜타포트 락 페스티벌, 멕시코의 Noche de Primavera, 일본 CUEW x SYNCHRONICITY’26 그리고 몽골의 Playtime Festival 출연 등으로 세계 무대에서의 활동을 이어가고 있다. Electro-punk duo Fat Hamster & KANG New deliver explosive live performances through music that fuses heavy basslines, distorted synths, and lyrics that take aim at climate change, discrimination, and those in power. Having performed at major Korean festivals including Zandari Festa and the Asian Pop Festival, they released their debut album Brains in a Vat in 2025, earning a nomination for Best Asian Creative Artist at Taiwan’s Golden Indie Music Awards and gaining attention from international radio platforms including KEXP and KXLU. That same year, they completed a European tour, taking the stage at Colours of Ostrava (Czech Republic), La Mar de Músicas (Spain), and Les Escales (France). In 2026, they continue their momentum with performances at Pentaport Rock Festival in Korea, Noche de Primavera in Mexico, CUEW x SYNCHRONICITY’26 in Japan and Playtime Festival in Mongolia.

🐺 Artist Spotlight - Lang Lee 이랑 1986년 서울 출생. 가난, 죽음, 슬픔, 불안과 고통을 기꺼이 직시하며 말과 노래의 쓰임을 고민하는 아티스트. 2011년 싱글 앨범 『잘 알지도 못하면서』로 데뷔, 2012년 정규 앨범 『욘욘슨』을 거쳐 2016년 정규 2집 『신의 놀이』로 제14회 한국 대중 음악상 최우수 포크 노래상을 수상. 2021년 세 번째 정규 앨범 『늑대가 나타났다』로 제 31회 서울 가요 대상 ‘올해의 발견상’, 제 19회 한국 대중 음악상 ‘최우수 포크 음반상’과 ‘올해의 음반상’으로 2관왕을 차지하는 등 대중과 평단의 극찬을 얻었다. 한국예술종합학교에서 영화 연출을 전공한 뒤 영상 감독으로도 일하고 있다. 주 무대로 활동하는 한국과 일본, 대만에서 여러 권의 만화, 에세이, 소설집을 발표했다. 다양한 영역을 유연하게 넘나들며 사회에 질문을 던지는 예술 활동을 이어나가고 있다. Born in Seoul in 1986. Lang Lee is an artist who willingly confronts poverty, death, sorrow, anxiety, and pain while exploring the power of words and song. Debuted in 2011 with the single album “Without Even Knowing”, followed by the full-length album “Yon Yonson” in 2012, and won the Best Folk Song Award at the 14th Korea Music Awards in 2016 for her second full-length album “Playing God”. In 2021, her third full-length album, “There is a Wolf”, earned her the “Discovery of the Year” award at the 31st Seoul Music Awards and a double win at the 19th Korean Music Awards for “Best Folk Album” and “Album of the Year,” garnering acclaim from both the public and critics. After majoring in film directing at the Korea National University of Arts, she has also worked as a video director. She has published several volumes of comics, essays, and short story collections in Korea, Japan, and Taiwan, where she primarily performs. She continues her artistic practice, flexibly crossing various fields to pose questions to society.

🌞 Artist Spotlight - KUNA 쿠나 2016년 밴드 ‘해피피플’을 시작으로 레게 음악을 연주해왔다. 이후 2023년부터 레게와 록을 결합한 프로젝트 ‘Hotter than July’로 활동했으며, 현재는 ‘Kuna’라는 이름으로 솔로 활동을 이어가고 있다. 레게와 소울을 기반으로 한 사운드를 중심으로 자신만의 음악 세계를 확장하고 있으며, 무대 위의 순간적인 분위기를 포착해 자유로운 잼으로 풀어내는 것이 강점인 뮤지션이다 Kuna has been performing reggae music since 2016, starting with the band “Happy People.” From 2023 onward, he was active in “Hotter than July,” a project that blends reggae and rock. He is currently continuing his solo career under the name “Kuna.” Centred on a sound rooted in reggae and soul, he is expanding his unique musical universe. He is a musician whose strength lies in capturing the fleeting atmosphere on stage and expressing it through free-form jams.

🌑 Artist Spotlight - MOONSOMOON 문소문 문소문은 기타리스트 김일로와 멀티 아티스트 카코포니로 구성된 음악 듀오다. ‘소문을 전하여 들음’이라는 이름 아래, 이 시대에 가장 필요한 목소리를 음악적 서사로 기록한다. 이들은 실험적인 사운드와 연극적 연출을 결합하여, 듣는 이로 하여금 '불편한 진실'과 '압도적 아름다움'을 동시에 마주하게 만드는 독보적인 위치를 점하고 있다. 2020년 1집 <붉은 눈>을 통해 현대사회의 마녀사냥을 고발했고, 1집을 바탕으로 만든 음악극 <불꽃처럼 피는>을 대학로 극장 쿼드에서 선보였다. 2024년 기형도 음악제에서 은상을 수상했다. 2026년 2집 <낭만을 빌려주는 노인>을 발매하며, 기술의 시대에 인간성에 대해 질문했다. 동명의 음악극은 아르코 창작산실 올해의 신작으로 선정되어 아르코예술극장 대극장에 올랐다. Moon Somun is a musical duo consisting of guitarist Kim Il-ro and multi-instrumentalist Cacophony. Under the tagline “Spreading and Hearing Rumours,” they capture the voices most needed in this era through musical narratives. By combining experimental sounds with theatrical staging, they occupy a unique position that compels listeners to confront both “uncomfortable truths” and “overwhelming beauty” simultaneously. In 2020, they denounced the witch hunts of modern society with their debut album “Red Eyes” and created a stage musical “Blooming Like a Flame*”, based on the album, at the Quad Theatre in Daehak-ro. In 2024, they won the Silver Prize at the Ki Hyung-do Music Festival. In 2026, they released their second album, “The Old Man Who Lends Romance”, questioning humanity in the age of technology. The musical of the same name was selected as the “New Work of the Year” by the Arko Creation Studio and was staged at the Arko Arts Grand Theater.

🪱 Artist Spotlight - Erotic Worms Exhibition 에로틱웜즈익스히 역동적이고 비밀스러운 감정들을 채집하고 박제하는 부산의 4인조 인디 팝 밴드 에로틱웜즈익스히비션입니다. 드러머 안상원, 베이시스트 김예지, 송라이팅과 기타를 담당한 안현우 그리고 메인보컬이자 기타리스트 아니돈노가 함께하고 있습니다. We’d like to introduce Erotic Worms Exhibition, a four-piece indie pop band from Busan that captures and preserves dynamic and mysterious emotions. The band consists of drummer Ahn Sang-won, bassist Kim Ye-ji, Ahn Hyun-woo (songwriting and guitar), and lead vocalist and guitarist Anidono.

🎸 Artist Spotlight - DANPYUNSUN AND THE MOMENTS ENSEMBLE 단편선 순간들 단편선 순간들은 음악가 단편선이 이끄는 밴드다. 동양적인 기이함과 카니발적 아름다움을 한데 머금은 단편선의 레퍼토리를 빻고 부수고 다시 버무려, 그 속의 다양한 감정과 맥락—이를테면 숭고함, 쾌락, 형편없음, 고요함, 그로테스크, 균형감각 등—을 급진적으로 증폭시키는데 그 목적을 둔다. 재즈, 민속음악, 아트록, 현대음악 등에서 비롯된 여러 요소를 무분별하게 뒤섞어, 모두와 함께 먼 곳으로 간다. 2024년 1월 1일 결성을 알렸으며, 그해 발표한 첫 앨범 《음악만세》는 “우아하고도 처절한 인간 찬가”라는 평과 함께 2025 제22회 한국대중음악상에서 올해의 음반·최우수 모던록 음반 2개 부문을 수상했다. 2026년 현재, 피아니스트 이보람, 베이시스트 송현우, 드러머 박재준, 기타리스트 박장미가 함께하고 있다. Danpyunsun and the Moments Ensemble is a band led by musician Danpyunsun. By breaking down, shattering, and reworking Danpyeusun’s songs - which blend Eastern ecclectiveness with carnivalesque beauty - this band aims to radically amplify the diverse emotions and contexts within it, such as the sublime, pleasure, wretchedness, tranquillity, the grotesque, and a sense of balance radically amplified. By mixing elements drawn from jazz, folk music, art rock, and contemporary music, they take their sound to exciting new places. They announced their formation on January 1, 2024, and their debut album, Hail to the Music, released that same year, was praised as an “elegant yet harrowing ode to humanity.” It won two awards at the 22nd Korean Music Awards in 2025: Album of the Year and Best Modern Rock Album. As of 2026, the band consists of pianist Lee Bo-ram, bassist Song Hyun-woo, drummer Park Jae-jun, and guitarist Park Jang-mi.

Please be aware that it is possible that further timetable changes may occur. We will try our best to avoid further changes, though. Full weekend tickets are still available, but are selling fast. Busan Calling 2026 lineup announcement and Early Bird ticket opening This Friday at 12 pm, we will be sharing the lineup for Busan Calling 2026. The announcement will feature around 30 specially selected artists. We’ll feature some of the best music from Busan, as well as some great names from Seoul and even a couple of names from further away… We will also be releasing our early bird tickets. Early bird tickets are discounted tickets that go on sale immediately after the lineup is released. They will be extremely limited, so you’ll have to be fast to get yours. If you miss out on early bird tickets, don’t worry.
