Exciting things tinged with sadness...
Many of you will know EJ of Hatchet+Bear and how he very sadly passed away last year. I hadn’t known him very long but was very fond of him and our rambling chats that strayed very far from the point.
I helped him tidy out his workshop and found a few half finished objects that he was making in collaboration with Vanessa of the Sourdough School. Months later I contacted her in the hope that I could be of some use in finishing off some of these things for EJ, it felt like a good way for me to say goodbye, from one maker to another. Here are the results.
These Handmade dough scrapers were designed by EJ and Vanessa, started by EJ and finished by me. The handles are hand carved from Walnut with Brass pins holding it all together.
This limited batch of x40 will be live on the Frome Hardware website at 8am on the 6th May and will be the last of this provenance.
