CALLING ALL KIDS.
some call it baby rave, some call it fun, we call it Little Mammal Dance. no big lizards allowed!
after rigorous testing and deliberation, the in-house little mammals have selected several very good records and two drinks from the Softer vaults. the pink one with the silver spots and that other tasty one. not the spicy one!
adults enter free, but must be accompanied by a child.

we are happy to introduce a new series, Dig Dug, where we invite you to take a deeper dive into a particular musical subject be it genre, artist, geography, technology, etc.
for our first edition we'll take a stroll through the fields of edits as they relate to music. where the basics of cut and paste have been elevated beyond function, recontextualizing the originals into new forms and styles, repurposing lost music and popular hits for new audiences and giving the recordings a parallel life. fans of Burroughs' cut up technique need only apply the same lens to magnetic tape... and beyond.
we'll listen to some famous editors like Mr. K and Ron Hardy, but also local artists who've gained global recognition via labels like 7 inches of Love, Red Motorbike, Honey Disco, and more!
...keep an eye out for next month's Dig Dug - Les IS More where we'll explore the 70+ album history of Les McCann with local Les fanatic Tyger Dhula.

burrow is still a work in progress and it may remain that way up until its closing this summer. But we didn't want to wait any longer for this event.
Please join us for an evening of listening in support of Lebanon. The folks at @tuneforkstudios and @beirutsynthcenter have created a compilation series in benefit of Beit Aam and other local orgs helping those displaced by israel's latest attacks on Lebanon—and have given us their blessing for this event. We'll be gathering to hear a selection of songs from Land 02 and Land 03 at 8PM and 9:30PM, respectively.
All proceeds from the evening will be directed their way and we've set up two separate sessions to accommodate as many friends as we can in our little room. There will be tea and likely an endearing mishap or two as we unfurl from the cocoon.
more details to come - ticket link up top.
in the meantime, the full compilation series is available via @tuneforkstudios bandcamp (info on last slide)
