NW200 Part 2!
@hickyracer60 gave me the opportunity to ride his @phrperformance Triumph 765 Supersport and Triumph 660 Sportbike, and I’m very grateful. Loved every lap, every dry lap anyway!
I also feel like it really helped me learn the track after struggling there last year. The Supersport bike is an absolute missile — only 10mph slower through the speed trap than my BMW!
The Sportbike was always going to have a tough time against the Super Twins, but I still loved riding it in both races.
Results:
• Supersport – Qualified P56, Finished P16
• Sportbike – Qualified P24, Race 1 P24, Race 2 P21, one place ahead of my teammate Pierre.
NW200 2026 done and dusted! ✅ Unfortunately, I only managed 4 laps on the @halliwelljonesmotorrad BMW, but I matched my time from last year and qualified in the first wave — which was my main goal on the big bike.
Sadly, we ended up with a split in the fuel tank and, despite trying to get it welded, it started leaking from the opposite side.
Next stop: the TT 👊🏍️
Excited to get racing today. Unfortunately I won’t be out on the @halliwelljonesmotorrad by @phrperformance BMW due to the fuel tank splitting in the superbike qualifying. We took it to get repaired but then found further cracks on the welds. Now I need to sweet talk @irish_bob_tms to get it ready for the TT! I still have 3 races todo. Two on the Triumph 660 and one in Supersport! Picture credit @doubleredphoto
Waiting to board the ferry to @north_west_200 looking back at last year’s photos and getting very excited to go again 😬🏁
Time to keep improving and get some laps in on a couple new bikes! 🏍️🔥

Sun, speed, and serious intent at Oulton Park today. 🔥🏁 Barry has been putting the BMW #M1000RR through its paces at BSB testing, dialling everything in ahead of a huge few weeks on the road racing calendar.
Next stop: the North West 200 (7–9 May), followed swiftly by the legendary Isle of Man TT. Two iconic events. One focused rider.
We’re proud to be backing Barry once again for both road racing rounds this season. Stay tuned… this is just the warm-up. 👀
We can’t wait to see Barry Burrell back on track at this years Isle of Man TT 🏁 For now, he’s out in Aragon getting to grips with this year’s bike & putting the laps in!
