Did you know Jimmy Stewart was a Princeton graduate? He graduated with a degree in Architecture, but ended up finding his passion for acting before he ever had the chance to use his degree! Some of his early performances were actually as part of the Princeton Triangle Club theater troupe—one of the oldest collegiate theater troupes in the USA. In 1997, Princeton honored Jimmy with a tribute and the dedication of the James Stewart Film Theater.

Much of Legacy Peak was filmed in and around the YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park, CO. This includes the ice fishing scene, which was actually filmed at the entrance to the YMCA on a frozen pond by the gate.
Crew members hacked a hole in the ice using an auger and between some stock footage, great work by the props team, and clever editing, we have our ice fishing scene.
