Besides squeezing every last bit of quality out of our client's music he is a modular live act @hartbrand and produces electronic music for movies and other artists.

Itâs been almost 1.5 years since I moved all my engineering work into the new studio company @schaltgeraete_studios w my lovely colleagues @annadorovna & @monojo.music and I donât regret this big decision at all. Weâve finished building a dream studio for mastering and mixing in an environment that is super inspiring! Acquired our first really big foley job for @netflixde and are working hard every day to make this place inspiring for other artists and collaborators. Happy new year everyone! Looking at the third year of our little companyâs existence we are very grateful for all the good things that were happening last year: Our first ever 5 day workshop programme with @subverted.techno , lots of beautiful music that got mastered in the music department, lots of movies and series we were working on in the film post department together with our friends @basisberlinpost

Who else also enjoys clean and detailed mixes and masters more the longer you are working in audio? I have the feeling with the evolvement in monitoring, acoustics and most importantly ears over the coarse of the last 5 years I tend to be more interested in the more precise clean gear and mixing decisions than the super vibey stuff. I observe this with many of my engineering heroes as well. That doesn't mean that the increased depth of field and top end sparkle of high end tube gear doesn't put a smile on my face. Just an interesting observation or just imagination?
