Number of friends, memories, and opportunities because of this place - too many to list.
Thanks to everyone who participated and supported everything we were trying to do at the Lexus Velodrome. We did an awful lot but I always wanted more. Here we are, our paths part ways, at least for now.
My life wouldn’t be the same without those boards and the amazing people who made it all worthwhile. I’m so proud of the lives we touched and the community we’ve created.
And to think this place brought me the love of my life - how fortunate am I?

Made it up to the 906 to see the homies/crazed souls racing @marjigesick and test the capabilities of the mind & body on the big bike.
Conditions were all time with PNW-style fog in the mornings with wet rocks and roots everywhere that turned to sun and perfect temps in the afternoons.
Cannot wait to be back in Da Yoop!

This Summer is going to be a little different for me. On Sunday I came up short on a double at Moreland’s and I’m just so thankful things weren’t worse.
Broken left clavicle to match my right side and compression fractures to the T4, T5 and T7 vertebrae. Never lost consciousness and I can walk and feel all extremities. In the moment I knew I had broken my back and that was the scariest few hours of my life.
Beyond grateful to have @cassie_rad by my side from the moment I hit the ground and especially for the next 3 months while the brace and sling are on. I literally can’t do anything by myself.
We’re working on staying comfortable and managing the pain now without opioids. Doctors and surgeons say I will heal without surgeries and I’m very happy for that. It’s been a long few days of going from hospital to hospital but I’m looking forward to seeing some friends and family in the coming weeks ❤️
