🐾 Hi. We’re Burger Pack Paws Project. 🖤🏁 This has been a long time coming. Our names are Rikki & Dillion Brugueras, know by all of our friends as "The Burgers" Between the two of us, we’ve rescued dogs for most of our adult lives. Some came from shelters. Some from rescues. Some showed up when we weren’t even looking. Every single one of them changed our lives in ways we never expected. We’ve spent years fundraising, doing bike washes, helping where we could, and showing up for dogs who needed a second chance — all while quietly saying, “One day, we’ll do something bigger.” Well… this is that day. Burger Pack Paws Project was created because we believe every dog deserves a pack — a place to belong, people who fight for them, and a chance at a life filled with love. Our goal is to support local Arizona rescues through fundraising events, volunteer work, adoption promotion, and community outreach. We want to help rescues not only financially, but physically — showing up, getting our hands dirty, and being present. This isn’t about us. It’s about the dogs who saved us first. Took the boys out to Bartlett Lake this weekend so they could test the water and get introduced to paddle boarding before Saturday’s Pups & Paddle Boards event 🐾🌊 And honestly, one of the coolest parts of the day was getting to bring Ryder out — one of the puppies adopted through our March event 🤍 Seeing him out here living his best little adventure dog life was such a full circle moment for us. Ryder and Scrappy both got introduced to life jackets, paddle boards, water, and all the chaos that comes with trying something new for the first time 😂 This is exactly why we started Burger Pack Project. Community, rescue dogs, good people, and getting these dogs out making memories with their families. Reminder that Pups & Paddle Boards is THIS SATURDAY at Bartlett Lake 🌊 🐾 Check-in with us will be between 6:00–7:00 AM 🐾 Sign your waiver + drop donations at the tent 🐾 Then hit the water and hang out for the day There’s no structured schedule and you absolutely do not need a dog or paddle board to come hang out with us 🤍 We’ll continue posting donation board updates in our stories throughout the week, but we still have a few days left to help fill the board for Stealing Hearts Rescue before event day 🫶

Last night at Namaste & Play was one of those nights that just felt right 🤍🐾 A packed room, good people, and a whole lot of puppy love. Watching those little pups from @almostthererescue get that kind of attention and interaction is exactly why we do this. Thank you to everyone who showed up, brought a friend, and spent their evening supporting something that matters. It doesn’t go unnoticed, and it truly makes an impact for these dogs. Time on a mat, surrounded by adoptable puppies, just hanging out and having a good time. You do not need to be “good” at yoga. This is not that. This is the real side of putting on your first event. 🐾 We poured a lot into this one, time, energy, money, ideas, all of it. And if I’m being honest, it didn’t go exactly how I pictured it in my head. But that’s also the reality of building something from the ground up. We still raised $665 for rescue efforts, we saw a few dogs find their forever homes, and we got to watch people show up for something we care so deeply about. And that part? That’s everything. Because at the end of the day, this was never just about numbers or sales. It’s about creating something that brings people together for these dogs, and that’s exactly what happened. We learned a lot. We saw what worked, what didn’t, and what we want to do differently next time. But more than anything, we proved to ourselves that this is something worth building. This is what it looks like behind the scenes. Not perfect. Not easy. But real. And we’re just getting started. 🐾 🎥 @naramedia_official
