Wanted to grab some nice plates for dinner service so I headed to Kappabashi, Tokyo's famous kitchen supply and housewares area. It was truly insane the sheer amount of stores and selections in this district. You could spend days here exploring all the stores and side streets. Anyone in the food industry, opening a coffee shop, or just a passion for cooking and presentation needs to get here at some point. I only had a couple hours so I only scratched the surface. It was good to see people from all over the world shopping here and doing some R&D as some of these shops do international shipping. I spoke to one person who was grabbing a set of espresso cups for their cafe in London. The details still matter to some people ❤️👌🏻
Blessed to be able to indulge in my second passion ☕️ while on my burger adventures. I had an amazing time in Colombia 🇨🇴 when I wasn’t cooking/prepping, exploring all things coffee especially @ecoturismolanohelia .

Before Instagram existed, back when I was competing in bodybuilding in Florida once or twice a year, my cheat meals were planned around one thing: burgers.
@burgerbeast was one of the voices I trusted back then. I’d wait for his posts, save his recommendations, and build meals around them.
To now be written about by someone I followed and respected early on feels surreal. Grateful, humbled, and honestly a little undeserving—but I’ll take it.
