7 UKMVA 2025 nominations
A record for Ocurens, and a testament to our ongoing commitment to music videos.
These nominations highlight the balance we’ve been striving for: projects produced between our teams in France and the UK, with British, French and international artists; films by established directors like @latemilkfilm and @gab_bunk , who continue to push visual research further; and works by emerging voices such as @yeeiid and @alvynn_diagne , to whom we wanted to offer a safe and fertile ground for discovery and experimentation.
Each project was recognised on its own merits, validating our mission to support directors in their artistic journeys; a mission that requires immense dedication from our teams behind the scenes. This is especially true for our executive producers and producers, @bunmi.ft , @lea.letr , @andreatyrion , @jrdn.ldn , @evgeniaavr & @roxhanne , whose commitment and resilience turn ambition into reality.
Obviously, none of this would have been possible without the artists who placed their trust in us. This year alone, we’ve had the chance to collaborate with @ri.mon , @ajtracey , @clovisenbruits , and @tiniegram , as well as Rilès, dearALICE, Headie One, Aitch, Jorja Smith, KSI, Stormzy, Adés The Planet, TH, and Alice Charter. Their confidence and creative energy are the foundation on which these nominations stand.
Despite being truly grateful for the tremendous success of our talents, we can’t help but notice that we are not yet recognised among the strongholds of music video production in the UK. But this only fuels our resolve to keep building singular projects and genuine collaborations.

Not even sure what the purpose of this dump is. Or the significance of these particular collection of images. This year has been truly transformative and im trying to do a better job at taking the time to live the moments im in but this often means i try not to linger and move on to the next thing. It’s okay to stop every once in a while and look at the flowers. The seeds we’ve planted need water and sunlight. Truly grateful for every single person that has shared some steps with me on my path this year. I find meaning in every day. Especially the bad ones. You need the bad ones. Embrace the moment, the pain, the struggle. They ultimately bring you closer to yourself. They reveal more about you than comfort ever will. There’s joy in that. Get to know that person intimately. Don’t hold on to past versions of yourself, put them to rest. They have served their purpose. Embrace the discomfort of finding new parts or rediscovering old pieces. Sometimes the old pieces don’t fit the same way and we have to find new places to house them. It’s still all you. And that’s all you need.
I guess this is a note to myself. A reminder or something.
