When I started running, I didn’t want time to stress me out too much. I only wanted to get outside, listen to podcasts and music, and look at some trees. I haven’t gotten much faster. I did, however, figure running a half marathon under two hours was a cool goal. I’ve gotten to two hours a few times, but today was the first time I comfortably went under. Here are some pictures from recent runs and the pasta I cooked for dinner. Here’s to small progress and fresh air!
Went home for a little bit, saw patient teachers and friends, found some old soccer and journalism awards, one with my name spelled wrong. I also picked up this very cool new award. I wasn’t an exceptional young person, but I found my passion and a lot of kind people always believed in me. Thanks for the family and the honor, @uchicagolab .
