What sets a conical spring apart from a cylindrical or beehive spring is harmonic stability.
A conical spring has varying diameter coils and a progressive rate which causes a self damping effect. If one coil reaches its harmonic frequency, the neighboring coils act to dampen the resonating coil. Our next Bullet Billet .308 block is currently being machined and prepared for assembly.
This one has been black anodized, giving it a different look compared to our regular machined-finish blocks.
All of our performance builds are honed with torque plates installed, using our state-of-the-art honing machine with diamond honing stones.
