~ 1 part racing, 3 parts just soaking in what the gorgeous landscape has to offer ⛰️
The route felt like I was in book where each passing kilometer unfolded a chapter revealing a different landscape and introducing new characters along the way ☮️
I could say it is the most scenic and diverse routes I’ve ever ran on. A perfect loop to explore Sagada’s wild side🫀

Business as usual again at Built Cycles. Glad to see Matty back, this time with her new bike—a sleek and speedy Acol Impero.
We first worked with Matty on her Specialized Diverge, setting her up on flat pedals. Since it’s been a while since we last saw her, she’s definitely grown taller since that first bike fit—always a good reminder of how important it is to reassess fit as riders develop.
Now with more mileage and training under her belt, she’s ready to make the jump to clipless pedals and a more aggressive setup.

“What a privilege to be exhausted by something you chose to do”
When I started this training block for the 100 miler, a lot of things were uncertain
Do I have the time?
Do I have the fitness?
Will my body hold up?
Looking back, maybe those were just excuses. Kaya naman pala. You just have to be willing to sacrifice and be intentional in what you do and what you say yes to.
To arrive at the start line healthy already means something.
Finishing the course within the cutoff time is another story.
All in for the experience.
