Bufiman has defined a niche sound that
reaches beyond it’s own confines, inspiring a whole undercurrent of record collectors,

he DJs odd styles of music, light-footedly

Hailing from Belgium, Sookie is a DJ and vinyl collector known for her authentic 90s aesthetic and her presence in Brussels’ unique underground music scene. Her sets are full of surprises, crafting musical journeys and turning the dance floor into constant motion.
Bufiman, the longtime resident figure of Salon des Amateurs, is no secret for proper quality music guarantee.
Supported and hosted by Timo and Jonathan - together forming Trancesetters of Westphalia and this time, they will be performing a special live set in the middle of the night.

Der Düsseldorfer Jan Schulte ist ein wahres Multiversum an Talenten: Discjockey, Produzent, Tänzer, Rhythmusliebhaber, Maultrommelspieler und Froschfan.
Niemals zufrieden mit musikalischen Stereotypen, produziert er unter verschiedenen Alter Egos – wie Bufiman, Wolf Mueller oder auch Diskoking Burnhart McKoolski – verschiedene, stets eigenartige und äußerst seltsame, aber immer mitreißende und höchst sympathische Stile der Tanzmusik.

Am 12. Februar um 17 Uhr startet der diesjährige Visual Music Day im Studio Transmediale Formen des Instituts für Musik und Medien. Special guest der Veranstaltung ist Jan Schulte aka Bufiman aus Düsseldorf. Vom IMM gibt es DJ-Sets von Waltraud Blischke (C.C. Herman), Darwin Wagner und Christian Schäfer. 🪩⚡️
Die Studierenden im Schwerpunkt Visual Music entwickelten für den Visual Music Day 2026 in der Lehrveranstaltung Musikvisualisierung im stillen Bild bei Christian Schäfer die Plakatideen und in der Lehrveranstaltung Musikvisualisierung im bewegten Bild bei Leon Monschauer die Transformation der Plakate zu Live Visuals im Raum.

Das diesjährige Plakat wurde von Aurelia Sonntag Vermelhudo gestaltet.
