@google approached us ahead of their annual Blockly Summit '25, looking for an event opener to captivate attendees as they arrived.
Taking Blockly's signature 2D illustration style into an isometric 3D world, we created something that felt true to the brand while giving the event the polish it deserved — all within a very tight turnaround.
We’re really proud of how this one came together, and it’s great to hear how well it landed with the Google team and attendees on the day.

We partnered with New York-based salad brand @choptsalad to create a collection of digital content spotlighting their menu items.
To celebrate their flagship store opening, we delivered bold digital content across in-store, web, and social. With a clear creative vision from the CHOPT team, we shaped the work into a cohesive on-screen experience, balancing readability with strong brand alignment.

What’s an impact report?
All B Corps are required to publish an annual report about their activities and plans to make a positive impact on people and the planet.
This is our fourth impact report now, and second as a B Corp. We always find it’s a nice way of reflecting on our progress and making plans for the coming year, some of which we’re already working on. We’re looking forward to sharing more about some of these initiatives soon.

In between client projects, the Buff team wanted to channel their energy into a creative experiment. The aim was to play with perception, specifically how materials, weight and physics can be subverted on screen, while also exploring the contrast between 2D and 3D textures.
The project began with the idea of creating a tongue in cheek brand around a simple inanimate object, like a rock. We called it Bounc, a name that gave personality to something so basic and crude. From that starting point, the work evolved into a series of short scenes where flat 2D textures collide with fully rendered 3D objects. By exaggerating weight, flipping expectations and manipulating the rules of physics, we were able to inject humour and surprise into each interaction.
The project was conceived and developed by our in-house team, while sound design was crafted by @pelican.sound . We set them the challenge of creating a soundscape that would bring the visuals to life and amplify the playful contradictions of the piece:
"The idea was to pair the animation with a playful, fluid sound palette that lets the ears anticipate what’s next while the visuals deliver, together shaping the full vision of Bounc."

The sound became a crucial layer of the project. The mix of instrumentation with moments of restraint heightens the sense of uncertainty and adds another twist to how expectations are challenged. The audio not only reinforces the mood but also enriches the overall experience, making Bounc feel complete and immersive.

We considered multiple channels and every opportunity to push the boundaries of their ambitious brand execution. After a thorough discovery phase, we delivered a suite of animated branded illustrations, a revitalised presentation system for the sales teams, and a hero launch video to introduce the new positioning.

[Sound on 🔈] After wrapping a few of our biggest projects to date, the Buff team took time to step back and reflect.
Over a couple of days filled with good food, laughter, and shared insights, we had a well-deserved pause to appreciate the wins, the lessons, and everything in between. We feel very lucky to have such a wonderful collection of people in our squad.
