Part 1 of 2: Top Chef, baby! What an incredible evening at Amrina The Woodlands celebrating Top Chef Carolinas with 13 (out of the 15) contestants and 2 Top Chefs from previous seasons!!!
Not only were we served 6 delicious courses, we got all of them to sign our Top Chef coat! We’ve been collecting signatures since the Top Chef Cruise in 2013 and have Tom Colicchio, Gail Simmons, Kristen Kish, Richard Blais, Tim Love, Hubert Keller, Brooke Williamson, Tiffany Derry, and more.
One of the coolest parts of the night was getting to chill with the Chefs afterwards and partaking in the Top Chef after party shenanigans! #YOLO #topchef

I love @nctataco and their margaritas are some of my absolute favorite in Durham and I look forward to any chance to meet up with friends for drinks or a quick bite.
They recently started daily brunch and when they invited me to check out their new menu offerings, I jumped at the chance.
We let them choose for us and they gave us some delicious dishes. These were a few standouts for us along with their incredible cocktails.
🍳 Steak & Eggs with 🥑 and mexi slaw. The steak was so tender and flavorful.
🍳 breakfast 🌯 featuring potatoes, bacon and Chorizo with @dukes_mayonnaise
🍳 Mexican Shrimp Cocktail. Poached shrimp, cucumber, 🥑, cilantro in a house cocktail. I didn't eat these due to allergy but was popular at the table.
🍳 Mexican French Toast. Local Telera bread with a custard base, berry syrup, and topped with ice cream. This was absolutely divine!
We tried a Margarita flight, Passion Mezcalina, Pear Pressure, and La Lulu. Every one is a winner so truly just order what suits your fancy that particular brunch.
Daily brunch is offered from 11-3 and they also have lunch so if part of your group wants brunch and another wants lunch, everyone leaves happy.
Plus. @buenosdiaz never disappoints.
Restaurant Wars: where friendships are tested, egos are sautéed, and competition gets tight.
We built a whole restaurant in 24 hours, slept never, argued a little, blacked out for a minute, and somehow still expected a Michelin star by dinner service.
10/10 would emotionally spiral again. 🍽️🔥
