Had the pleasure of scoring a short film with my best friends @buddyterry @ginothemanager @jessie_usa and others! This was made for @dc48hourfilm and we created everything in a weekend! The film will be playing this Thursday @afisilvertheatre along with many other submissions! I had so much fun making the music for this and hope to do more in the future! Tickets are available on the afi silver screen theater website and there will be an audience choice award after the screenings so come out and vote for us !

You really have to be careful who you talk to online… Because one of them might just end up being one of the coolest guys ever 😉 Who you then finally get to meet IRL 8 years later at a cafe in Virginia! @tommytranpro 🙌🏼 ✨ A few months before Covid hit I reached out to @thenextnomads after seeing some of the incredible photos of the brand, message they were beginning to build, and not long after got a message back from none other than Tom. That initial connection then led to two of the most incredible collaborative shoots with friends and creatives from all over the PNW and a lifelong friendship beyond! Throughout all the time between Covid and now, Tom and I have remained in contact and I’ve come to know him and as nothing short of a genuine, driven, inspirational person, all of which was absolutely affirmed when our paths finally intersected last week in VA. We exist in very uncertain, and in so many ways dark times right now, and in spite of all of that, just as @isaacturnerit put it in his @thenextnomads interview in 2019, “but… there are good people in this world!” and it’s that simple. Good people, making connections, building community, and trying to bring positive things into this world 🌎 This is the story of how I met Tom Tran, a great guy who I have so much love and respect for✨. #thenextnomads

So for our team to receive such recognition is a dream turn reality… • 🥉 Best Overall Film 🎵 Best Score ~ @kaleb_baerresen 🧍‍♂️ Best Lead Actor ~ @ginothemanager 🎥 Best Cinematography 🫂 Best Cast Ensemble ~ @zavistovichalex @gmikeharris3 ~ @chamkearn • More than anything, I think what we all agreed on is that what RAM became throughout this process, was a conduit for individual and, ultimately, collective artistic expression & exploration. Throughout the making of the film every member contributed nothing short of their whole ♥️s to the creative process, and the result was a piece of art that will forever hold a very special place within our hearts. • For waxy philosophical reasons uncertain, I feel compelled to end with a beautiful quotation from F.
