We going 3 for 3. Im usually behind the scenes and out the headlines when it comes to work thus far but mannnn im just Super grateful to have now three Gold RIAA certified projects I have been on!! What truly started off as a kid posting beats on soundclick back in the early 2000s for years led up to these milestones and I’m truly appreciative for the ride thus far. Outside of music, I found a deep interest in capturing human emotion in real time—these were shot before the pandemic, during a time I felt fully present in the art of the lens. Making space for visual storytelling in the blink of an eye. Idk if this was more editorial style or living in the feel of something I see in the midst of a conversation that just so happens to be a shot. I was out more. I was involved in many community events and art spaces that inspired a lot of this. Had a studio at the time that encouraged folks from all creative walks of life gathering together. Big community vibes!! Music and photography and visuals all kind of fall in line of expression that leads into the next side of one another. More like felt than heard..atleast with me when it comes to photos. idk Revisiting these reminds me that this part of my creativity never left, and a time to return to it…. . I’m sure I’ll probably do a photographic exhibition of sorts with some of these…Someway somehow. I look forward to shooting the artist behind the scenes … the producers… the writers ….names not often recognized while sharing space for whatever creative voice to be heard. Just thinking thoughts.
