🎉 Bucky turned 5 last week… and celebrated with a 5-star stay at @parkhyattmelbourne 🏨🥂✨
His suite came with everything a pup could dream of:
a dog bed, plush toy, and welcome treat waiting just for him. We loved that our room was on the ground floor, right by the rear entry and exit, so we never had to pass through the busy lobby and could head straight out to Fitzroy Gardens for birthday walks. There was even a balcony potty station, the kindest staff, and a dog menu with raw options, perfect for our raw-fed boy.
As a German Shepherd, Bucky often gets left out of “dog-friendly” hotels because of weight limits so we feel extra lucky to have found a place that truly welcomes dogs of all sizes. A birthday fit for our king 🥰❤️

I know these might just look like simple photos to some people, but these are genuinely my favourite kind of days. Exploring somewhere beautiful with Bucky, taking photos I’ll probably look back on years from now, and feeling grateful for this little life we’ve built together 🍂

We’ve been back to RJ Hamer Arboretum a few times now and it honestly never gets old. One of those places where you can slow down, grab a coffee, walk with your dog and just exist for a bit.
Only about an hour from Melbourne, with mountain views, fern trees and an easy 3km loop perfect for on-lead walks.
And yes… I still haven’t managed to fly the drone here because every visit seems to come with wind or rain 😂 but honestly, this place doesn’t even need it.
If you visit, please pick up after your dog so we can all keep spots like this beautiful 🤎
Imagine being so loved that people build their life around you.
Because that’s exactly what happened here. 🐾
Looking back at these clips from our QLD & NSW trip made me realise how many of our best memories exist because of this dog.
Wouldn’t trade this life for anything honestly ❤️
