Happy Birthday Kelsey! 🎉 40 big ones. That’s crazy! Because first of all you don’t look a day over 24 :) but secondly because I remember walking in-step with you down Pearl Street late one night in college like it was yesterday. Sitting in a camp chair in the parking lot of Berthoud Pass after snowboarding thinking, “I like this girl!” And just like that, here we are: 3 kids, 11 years of marriage, and almost 20 years of friendship later. And somehow I love you more today than I ever thought possible then. I’m so amazed by you. Your strength. Your resolve. Your generosity. Your creativity. Your beauty. Your joy. Fathers Day surfing with the whole family on the beach in Mexico under a light, tropical drizzle as lunch & drinks are brought to us. Wow! That was far and away the best day of 2021 for me (thanks! @hellohadleygirl for making it so special). Here’s to more days like that in 2022. Happy New Year!
