Shaun D was my first mentor when making bubbling beats!!
I used to go to HVO every month, a club next to The Hague city, to a party called r&b night every first friday of the month
The party was aged 15+
Went on Partypeeps2000 to link up with him to ask if he could play my songs!! But they werent good enough at the time 😭💔🥀
We still became friends as he came to live close to my house in The Hague Schilderswijk in 2009
Ever sinds then we became (Dj) Friends playing partys all through out holland, so this must be one of my most fun b2b’s ever

Wat een zalige combinatie: de kleurrijkste rapper van Nederland (Bokoesam, duh!) sloeg de handen ineen met producer Yucky en de Hagenees De Schuurman, de man die via het Oegandese label Nyege Nyege uit het niets doorbrak met een bubblingplaat die al ruim 10 jaar op de stapel lag, en sindsdien een van de frontrunners is van de Nederlandse bubblingrevival. Het resultaat daarvan is ‘Kom Naar Me Toe’, een superdansbare bubblingtune waarin de schunnige teksten je om de oren vliegen.
