This is one of my fave pics of London so I’m reposting…did The Natural History Museum this morning and spent hours in the V&A this afternoon (didn’t see anything I saw last time 😂 How long does it take to go through this museum ❤️❤️❤️) So long London….had a good run…love you….😘How much sad, did you, think I had, in me….
Got home late from footy yesterday so didn’t post, but did Tate Britain and watched the Hammers tie AGAIN against Brighton FFS 🤦🏻♀️. Today did Highgate (got lost on the tube for the first time this trip but minor delay 😂)and then Hampstead…watched the sunset from the Heath…as the sun sets on 2025…very fitting I think ❤️
Richmond Day today…I’m officially at the point of the trip where my legs are freaking aching and I’m thinking “I’m too old for this shit” 🤣🤣Puttered around Richmond park, came across a deer which was huge and a bit terrifying- but everyone else seemed nonplussed and just continued about their business 😳 Then did Christmas at Kew ❤️
The Wallace Collection this morning (fabulous), then a West Ham game that was disappointing (we love you Ollie, chin up lad ❤️❤️❤️)…then the cable cars this evening…and a cute onesie for my grandbaby to be 😉
Went to the Leake St. Arches today, amazing graffiti 🤩 Wandered around Lambeth (IYKYK, posh LOL), then spent 80 pounds (about 160 🇨🇦 dollars) on a dinner that was presented so lovely but was stone cold 🤦🏻♀️. The Nutcracker (no photos allowed- good for them, people should focus on the performance ❤️). I was already in Covent Garden for the show so had to go back to the tree to see it lit up at night 🎄
No public transport today so it was a quiet day at home…my Airbnb is near Ally Pally though so I couldn’t pass up a chance to see it…fabulous view 🤩 Like a true Brit I listened to The King’s speech at 3pm…now I’m settled in watching The Holiday ❤️
London Christmas Day 3…Fortnum and Mason, Liberty London, Selfridges, and a carol concert at the Royal Albert that I wish I could make a Christmas tradition ❤️
Bits and bobs from day 2…Covent Garden, some nicely decorated hotels, Buckingham Palace store, Selfridges Disney themed display…open topped bus tour was a bust but hey, I’m here for the holiday 🎄😁
Operation London at Christmas Day 1 in the bag…working on no sleep but made it through 😂 I went to Wembley to buy an England kit but- I was only customer there, there were three employees, and not one of them acknowledged me. I swear Londoners have the worst customer service ever 🙃 Then saw my first London Christmas tree at Wembley Park, my second at St Pancras Station, and came upon Ricci at Arsenal station 🤩 Oh Ricci you’re so fine, you’re so fine…😛
