Lauren and I have been playing a ton of slay the spire 2 and it’s super addicting. Love seeing all the references to the old game, everything feels so snappy, and the new mechanics are great! Here is some art I did for the first game and I need to make some art for the new characters cause they’re so cool!

I just recently finished Hollow Knight, taking about 76 hours to 100% the game. Literally obsessed and I have since begun my next adventure of playing silksong. I’m probably only 2-3 hours in but I love the music and the voice acting/vocalizations. It’s so cute and pretty!! Anyway, here is my newest plushie debut! For this print I returned to some more comfortable rendering style cause I thought the contrast and sharpness matches the series 🙂
My favorite part was painting the fish cause I felt like I could be really loose with it and have fun!

I use to dedicate long stretches of alone time to try and draw, but I always came out of those sessions a bit more stressed 😂 So it’s been interesting to see how much I’m able to do in weird pockets of time. I always try to make mental notes on what makes those times more enjoyable, cause I feel like learning how to enjoy the process is half the battle!

I’ve been listening to a lot of TOE lately and I think the drums in “Goodbye” is probably the closest any song has to making me cry 🥲 This is the first art piece I’ve made in a long time that I’m ready to make a print! It may just be one but it really represents the culmination of a lot of obstacles bypassed and a lot of self-doubt vanquished. This has been a major step in my art journey and I’m hoping to make a lot more art in the future! So stay tuned! 🙂
