Field Enhancement.

experiential experimental.
For the field enhancement project, I draw sound and aesthetic inspirations from many different genres and styles such as techno, IDM, noise, industrial and dark ambient. Much of this involves heavily manipulated and distorted textures, arrhythmic drums, covert shadow like synths and surrealist soundscapes.
Mix McGovern (Max) strives for creating that sense of community on the dance floor. From the warm sounds of 90s balearic to more intense progressive style, Max has everything up his sleeve to play what the crowd yearns for most.
Cee is the alias of Chloe Innes, longtime inhabitant of the dance floor turned dj, born in Tāmaki Makaurau and now living in Pōneke. She has a love for progressive house, acid house, and everything 90s. Expect to hear trip hop and downtempo to kick off the night.
We are also operating an open call for sunflower artwork to be exhibited at our event Dance For Ukraine on Friday the 21st November.
The sunflower can be created using any medium (we will have options for digital and physical installation).
You can choose to sell your sunflower at this event! Proceeds from your sunflower will be split 50/50; half going to you and half being donated to ‘United Help Ukraine.
There is free entry to sunflower creators, however, any donations to the cause are much appreciated.

Sandwich is a TWO part combination event between creators of sculptural artwork and creators of experimental sound-work.
2PM - 5PM
Daytime gallery exhibition with ambient sound (koha entry)
Feel free to walk around, engage with the artwork, grab a drink and hang out.
7PM - 12AM
Nighttime party exhibition with club sound (ticketed entry)
Return at nighttime for heavy club sounds chosen and created in collaboration with sculptural artists. Each sculptural artwork is paired with a music set.
