The Tubular car made it into Maine’s biggest demolition derby!!! @bubbafick and his crew transformed an old Pontiac Bonneville into the raddest derby car, and @motox145 drove it like an absolute pro at the Skowhegan State Fair! Awesome to see the stands packed and super stoked the guys were flying the Tubular colors! 💥🤙

Another incredible day of racing at Saddleback King of the Mountain, the largest snowmobile hill climb on the east coast! Huge props to all the spectators, staff, and racers who battled through the wet weather and still made it a rad day of racing. Awesome to see @bubbafick racing on his Tubular sled and rocking the jersey! Bubba is a motorsports icon in Maine, and he’s also a master metal fabricator and hooked us up with incredible work on our vintage brewery trucks at his Fabme metal shop in Benton, Maine.

Here’s a look at the most recent addition to the Maine Sporting Adventures fleet. She’s a custom jet boat built off of a Polarkraft Outfitter 1654 all welded jon boat. The fabrication was done by @bubbafick and included adding a center console, float pods, tunnel hull, and lots of reinforcement in the transom area to accommodate a Yamaha 90/65hp jet drive outboard! After testing this boat out last fall during duck season and running it a fair amount this spring, I couldn’t be more pumped! Now that I’m used to the steering and know the capabilities of this vessel, I’m excited to offer full and half day guided jet boat trips this summer for river smallmouth. This boat will also be used for fishing lakes/ river mouths at ice out and combo trout/bass trips when conditions allow. Having a rig like this will allow quick, safe access to areas few other anglers get to fish, without the limitations of a propeller drive.
