370Z NISMO : The First CARB Legal Twin Turbo VQ37 • SEMA 2025
Some cars you just walk past.
Then there are cars like this; the kind that stop you, make you stare, and make you respect the people behind it.
This is the first CARB approved twin turbo kit for the VQ37VHR, built by Enthusiast Auto Care
@enthusiast_autocare and showcased on
@bagged.nismo 's Z. Seeing it in person at SEMA felt different, because the story behind this car is as serious as the hardware.
And before anything else, huge respect to Husam Hammadi from
@btwtuning He’s the one who originally mounted GTR turbos onto the VQ37 and built the base setup that inspired this entire project. Eugene told me himself that without Husam’s early work, the CARB legal twin turbo kit wouldn’t exist. This car is the result of both their minds pushing the platform forward.
I talked to Eugene Turkov and the team that day, the guy who engineered this whole kit. He explained how they used GTR turbos, how the tune keeps everything stable on 91 octane, and how hard it is to make a twin-turbo system drive like OEM and pass California emissions.
That’s not just skill, that’s pure commitment.
The powerband is smoother, torque hits earlier, the car feels alive without losing its factory manners. It’s the kind of engineering you appreciate more the longer you look under the hood.
The stance, the details, the carbon, the engine bay, the dyno sheets, and the vibe around the car.
SEMA had a lot of wild builds, but this one had heart, purpose, and a team that actually pushed the platform forward.
Respect to the owner, the crew at EAC, and everyone who made this Z what it is.
One of my favorite cars from SEMA 2025.
