Let me guess, your bike has a flat tire, and that’s why you can’t ride.
That excuse won’t work during Valley Bike Month! 🚴‍♀️🌵

Don’t see your shop on the list - add it through the bike shop submission form found on our linktree or at btwphx.com

Repost from @majortaylorphoenixriders :
Give us 3 ft please. It’s the law. Not too many people know this but we are allowed to have the lane if there’s no bike lane and you have to give us 3 ft of passing distance even then. But there’s no winning against a car so please stop being so aggressive.
The cycling community has to work on our etiquette as well. We don’t own the streets and neither do drivers.
Let’s all do better.

New York City wrapped up.
.
Reliving our trip to New York City for the 5 Boro Bike Tour and all the side adventures with the Brompton crew. Exploring the city by bike alongside friends from Phoenix felt extra special. It’s familiar in the best way since we spend so much time riding together back home. Meeting new folks, sharing stories, and nerding out over all things Brompton made this trip one to remember.
.
Already looking forward to next year’s ride.

Big thanks to Sara @proxsea for capturing such lovely footage for this edit. Full video is now up on my YouTube channel.

Amongst the Noise.
.
There’s something special about riding through the streets of New York City—everyone moving with purpose, flowing toward wherever they need to be. It’s a different rhythm than Phoenix, where the streets feel wide, open, and quiet.
But even here, in all the noise, there’s a kind of calm. A steady hum that pulls you into the present. The city is always in motion, and being part of that movement is something I don’t take for granted.
Just like in life, I’m always searching for peace within the noise.
Thank you @proxsea for these lovely video clips.

Sometimes you show up and learn that a ride was cancelled. The bright side is you’re probably not alone in that assumption. The perfect scenario to plan an impromptu group ride with new friends :)
That’s what happened this morning to @emilyheine and her new crew. They set out on their own journey. They turned lemons into lemonade. 🍋
The proof is in photo one and photo two.
#bikesbuildcommunity
The Phoenix Metro is lucky to have a rich cycling community. From the group rides, the bike shops and all the unique events and experiences it’s obvious that what makes us great is the collective effort from everyone.
This week we wanted to highlight the groups who work tirelessly behind the scenes to remove barriers and help shape the environment we live in so that it accommodates the active lifestyle we all love. We’re talking about the advocates and volunteers.
🟨Their meetings and opportunities to serve show up on the btwphx calendar as yellow. 🟨
These organizations are advocating for better infrastructure, educating communities, and ensuring that biking is a safe, accessible option for everyone across the Valley. Every voice helps move the needle toward a stronger, more bike-friendly future.Â
Whether you’re a daily commuter, weekend rider, or just getting started, there are so many ways to get involved and make an impact.Â
Ready to make a difference? Find a group, get involved, and let’s ride forward together!
We 💯 know - that there are several other individuals and groups doing great work who did not make this list. If you know of a missing organization, drop it in the comments. We would love to expand our understanding of who’s doing what to make our metro healthier.
