Your favorite workout tracker since 2008 now offers gym management and billing. The All-In-One you’ve been waiting for. We have a few principles that we think are important. 1. Keep It Simple. Our aim is to enable you to bill your members, facilitate class reservations, and track their progress in the simplest and most efficient manner. 2. Be Reliable. Our uptime for btwb is above 99% and we promise to hold that standard. 3. Always Be Updating. We have a rule that we continually improve our software. Thousands of btwb users have seen this first hand over the last decade. Just like fitness, we are committed to consistency and continual improvement. 4. Put Fitness First. Although we’re offering member management, we believe gyms live and die by the results of their members.

Over the years, programming has evolved. Gyms don’t just offer one workout anymore. There are often multiple workouts each day, along with several variations of the same workout depending on the athlete. While this made scaling easier, it also created confusion. But workout tracking apps never evolved with that change. So we decided to fix that. That’s where Variations comes in. With the new experience in the app, everything for the day is organized vertically. warm-ups, strength, conditioning, accessories, and more. Then, whenever a workout has variations, you can simply side scroll to explore the different options available. It makes browsing workouts and understanding your programming feel far more intuitive. We also made coaches’ notes much easier to access as part of a broader usability upgrade across the app. And when you dive into workout details, we’ve updated workout levels and categories to help athletes better understand pacing, goals, and intended stimulus. You can still explore scores and compare performances, but now everything is more organized and easier to follow. Leaderboards have evolved too. You can view rankings for a single variation, or switch to a stacked leaderboard that combines all variations so you can see how everyone performed overall. This is a big step forward in making workout tracking finally match the way modern programming actually works.

Workout TV is live. Google doesn’t let you have two Chromecast apps at the same time and we didn’t want gym owners to immediately be forced to switch to Workout TV (it is way better tho). So instead we built a new Workout TV app that you can download and use right now with all the new stuff. WODscreen will still be in the btwb main app. Over time we’ll move everything forward and make it so this just works directly on TVs across platforms without needing to think about it. You can run your class from it. You can highlight Committed Club, birthdays, stuff happening in your gym. You can show the workout of the day obviously, and switch between different views like column or grid depending on what you like. You can control it wirelessly. You can use it like a computer. Another coach can take it over from their phone. You can run it on a computer, on your phone, on a TV, whatever setup you have. We’ve got workout activity, leaderboards, different themes, you can adjust the font size, show movement gifs. It’s just really functional and actually built for how gyms operate. We already have an Android TV app live, so if you’re using Android TV you can go use it today. Other platforms are coming soon. We’re really excited about it and hope you check it out.

Like so many people in the community, we were saddened to hear about Rob Orlando’s passing. It got us thinking about when Rob first blew away the CrossFit world(he did it more than once). This is one of those stories. CrossFit has a long history, and in those early days, Rob Orlando became a legend. Back then, most people worked out in a garage and checked the main site every day. There’d be a link to something interesting, a workout, and the comments. You’d see incredible times posted and start to get to know people through that community. Then our group of friends came across King Kong. At the time, the workout looked insane and most of us couldn’t even start it. We were blown away just watching videos of people finishing the workout. But then we saw that Rob Orlando, like a superhero, decided not only to do it faster than almost everyone else… HE DID 6 ROUNDS INSTEAD OF 3. It was one of those moments where you just stopped and thought, I did not know that was possible. Above is a clip of that workout. The entire video is still up on his YouTube from 17 years ago, and it’s still just as insane. Rest In Power, Rob. You can support his family by donating to the “Rob O. Cold Bar Challenge”.

The Training Days screen just got a major update. Here’s what’s new. At the top of the screen, you’ll see a stats bar showing your total training days, personal record days, and how many months you’ve hit your gym’s committed threshold. Below that, there’s a new view mode toolbar. You can now switch between five different ways to look at your year. -Grid The classic calendar layout, where each month shows up as a small tile. If you hit your gym’s committed count for a month, it now shows a badge right on that month. -Column A compact dot view where each day of the year is represented as a single dot, letting you see your full year in one dense view. -Line A smooth cumulative line chart that tracks how your training days stack up month over month across the year. You can also compare previous years. -Pie A concentric ring chart where each ring represents a month. The wider the arc, the more active you were that month. Each month has its own color, and the total count sits right in the center. -Committed Club A vertical timeline that breaks your year down month by month. Each month shows your training day count, workout stats like total movements, reps, weight, and distance, plus any personal records from that period.

Your athletes are about to walk into class. Do you know who’s been away for 3 weeks, what their result on this workout was last time, and how long it’s been since someone did a deadlift? Some gym management tools focus on everything around the gym, not the product. That’s like a restaurant not prioritizing its food. At your gym the product is fitness. The class. The coaching. The programming. That’s where the real value is created. That’s why we built our all in one service differently, and why we’ve been working on Analyze Class for quite some time and are excited to release it soon. One tap before class. Every athlete’s history, PRs, attendance, and more. Good coaches know your name. The great ones know your fitness journey. This is one of many AI powered features coming soon.

Over 80% of women and 90% of men opted to go for the RX'D version of the workout this week. The bulk of the workout piled up on the Weight 2 section where the thrusters became a real sticking point for a lot of athletes. Each week we highlight a @btwbapp user and we loved this snapshot from @kevin.grist of @249_fitness in the United Kingdom. "Had a much better time this week. Dressed as a ninja. 🥷🏼 Tiebreak 9:18". The attached group shot showcasing everyone's themed outfits to make Friday Night Lights even more fun is what we love to see. 249 Fitness keeping their community fun & engaged while pushing each other through the Open. Note: These percentiles compare you against athletes in your division and workout version. This is different from your overall division percentile, which compares you against all versions combined.

Preliminary RXD percentiles. Most athletes are reaching Round 4, the top group gets into Round 5, and only the very best make it to Round 6.
