Last month I spent a magical week at
@renvylehousehotel as a
@screenireland /Fís Éireann Fellow and participant in
@stowestorylabs third annual Connemara Writers' Retreat. I hope these miscellaneous photos of our sojourn out west go some way to communicating the joy, friendship and inspiration we found there.
I am so grateful for the mentorship I received, for the friendships I forged, and for the uninterrupted time I was gifted to spend on my feature film project FORTY FOOT. Feedback and suggestions I received from my peers and mentors are still sparking new ideas in my mind. I continue to read and reflect on my notes from the retreat and make strides in the development of this project. I cannot speak highly enough about my experience at the Connemara Writers' Retreat or of the fearless captains of the ship: David, David and Katerina, thank you for your knowledge, hard work, and generosity, and for making it all possible.
