Event Recap: Community Emergency Tabletop Exercise at CoHub
Recently our CEO and founder attended the Community Emergency Tabletop Exercise at CoHub and she described how inspiring this opportunity was to connect with residents, VCS partners, the police ,statutory colleagues, and funders all in one space.
Bringing together such diverse voices has always been at the core of our mission, and the level of engagement, openness, and practical thinking exhibited during the event was genuinely powerful. It became evident that collaboration is key to building resilience in our community.
This event marked an important first step toward developing effective strategies for the emergency situations that Hackney may face. The discussions focused on the necessity of being prepared, having robust plans in place, and fostering a community-wide approach to emergency management. It is essential for all organisations to think proactively about the challenges posed by emergencies and to unite in creating a collaborative framework.
We are encouraged by the insights shared and look forward to continuing these discussions as we work together for a safer, more prepared Hackney!
