Yesterday, I had the privilege of attending The Creators Circuit Conference, the biggest creative workshop in Ibadan. It brought together leading voices in photography, videography, and content creation, all sharing valuable insights and practical lessons for growth in our industry.
Beyond the knowledge shared, the conference created room for meaningful connections, engaging conversations with fellow creatives on how we can continue to evolve, collaborate, and shape the future of our craft.
I also had the opportunity to run a quick-fire portrait session with @obagpictures on the exquisite backdrop by @neon_backdrops and in return, got blessed with the same feat from the baddest.
I also had the privilege of connecting with the exceptional tutor @oluseyi_magic , gaining real-time insights into Whisper Flow, an AI app.
In all, it was truly a thrilling and impactful gathering, especially for our great city, Ibadan. Having previously hosted Beyond The Camera here, it’s encouraging to see platforms like this continue to raise the bar and strengthen our creative ecosystem..
Creatives, it’s time to face the truth.
In today’s world, financial experts are running real estate companies while building professionals remain on payroll. The same is happening in other industries—media studios, barbershops, fashion brands—many are owned by people outside the craft.
