Patients often do better at just about anything with a dog by their side. That's exactly why Celie, the newest @canineorg facility dog at Baylor Scott & White – Hillcrest, is already making a difference. This two-year-old lab/golden retriever mix works alongside therapists HollyAnn and Erin in inpatient rehab. Celie supports patients during intensive therapy sessions that can last up to three hours a day, helping with everything from balance and walking to dressing and rebuilding confidence. He's there to help patients work toward the real-life goals that matter most to them.
