Hey Folks! Inviting you to a show we are putting on Saturday here at The Studio Nashville. This is an art show featuring Rob Crawford and Brook Sutton, Matt Glassmeyer, and Chris Walters. The show is centered around improvisation and conversation with 20 minute sets from each artist and a collaborative improv set to finish. Doors are at 6 and show starts at 7.
This is a free show/donation only!
There will be some beer and wine but feel free to BYOB. Seating is limited to first come first serve basis. Parking is available all along the block at local businesses and behind the studio accessible through the ally. Red building!

Happy would be an understatement…incredibly grateful would be more accurate. Today is the release of @thewoodbros latest album #puffofsmoke, an album of which I was lucky enough to be a part of. From the likes of Duke Ellington, Charles Mingus, Ahmad Jamal, Cole Porter, Gershwin and many others, Walters, Sutton and Brown touch on the American songbook with an unfettered improvisational spirit and expressive interaction sure to tease the likes of any music lover.

So excited for our daughter Chloe! Last night marked her first performance in a small ensemble. Over the last 8 weeks she has been diving into jazz and having a ball learning to handle the bass and play music with her peers. Of course I am biased but these kids sounded great…ages range from 6th grade to 9th…thank you to @vandyblairacademy and @marcwidenhofer for making this happen and giving these kids something to reach for! Proud dad…😌❤️
