A raucous #LivandMaddie reunion last night at the staged reading of DUMPSTER FIRE written by @johndbeck@ronhart44 and America’s Sweetheart™️ @joeybragg . So much fun watching Joey, @jess_m_garcia@victoriamoroles and @simplyshak together again, along with a veritable who’s who of familiar faces from your favorite kids and family shows. It’s funny. It’s sweet. It’s wildly inappropriate. And I loved every second. As an added bonus I got to see so many behind the camera members of my #LAMfam. Thanks for a great evening, gents. ALL the feels today as Twain graduated from high school —but mostly gratitude. Gratitude for both @pilgrimschoolla & @hollywood_schoolhouse , as well as all of the teachers who helped him find his voice, find his footing and become the young man he’s becoming. It truly takes a village, and we are so grateful for ours. Special shout out to @hey.insiders for never missing an event or an excuse to celebrate our kid. We love you guys. 👨🎓🥺
Last day of high school, finished off by a performance with the school band at the iconic Whisky a Go Go. A very nice swan song, indeed. Thank you @pilgrimschoolla .
A few key takeaways from last night’s backyard storytelling shenanigans at @ronhart44 ’s house:
1. We had a lovely mini #LivandMaddie reunion (not pictured: Julie and Rena). Loved seeing all of you.
2. @chambersstevens told the story about the time he danced for George Balanchine at the Grand Old Opry which ended in him leading everyone in a group clogging session. I’ve heard the story many times but the fun part was listening to people’s reactions to it. Literal gasps.
3. Ron unexpectedly asked @twainsbrain1 to introduce his father and he did it like a boss. Sometimes I’m in awe of my kid’s confidence.
3. Twain got to hang with my friend @nartz66 and have deep discussions about his love for Austin & Ally, the show Kevin co-created.
4. Surprising no one, America’s Sweetheart @joeybragg made it awkward.
