The first #BSSSC Board Meeting of 2026 brought together representatives of regions, municipalities, experts and youth organisations from across the Baltic Sea Region.
Hosted by the City of Gdynia and the Pomorskie Region, the meeting marked the beginning of the Vidzeme Planning Region’s chairmanship (2026–2027).
Key priorities discussed during the meeting included:
🛡 Strengthening societal resilience and civil preparedness
🌱Advancing a green and secure energy transition
🚉Improving sustainable transport and connectivity
👩🎓 Supporting youth engagement and talent development
🤝 Strengthening the role of regions and cities in shaping European policies.
